Next Level Physical Therapy & Wellness was founded in 2021 with the goal of providing higher quality treatment to each patient as opposed to the standard, cookie cutter approach to physical therapy. At Next Level, you can expect a hands-on, personalized, one-on-one approach with your Doctor of Physical Therapy every session for a full 60 minutes (no aides or techs) to get you better, faster. Dr. Allison and Dr. Alexis have a passion for helping patients exceed their goals and live pain-free.
Meet the Next Level Team:
Dr. Allison Bragen, PT, DPT, PCES (Owner/Founder)
Allison is a Doctor of Physical Therapy and certified Pregnancy and Postpartum Corrective Exercise Specialist. She is passionate about helping people return to the activities they love, with a special focus on supporting women through pregnancy, postpartum recovery, and beyond. A lifelong athlete, Allison grew up in Point Pleasant, where she now lives with her husband T.J., their son Tommy, and their dog Ralph. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry from Monmouth University in 2013 and her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Columbia University in 2016. Since then, she has worked in outpatient orthopedics, treating a wide range of conditions from the head to the toes. Allison believes in addressing the root cause of pain rather than just the symptoms. Her approach is individualized to each unique client, empowering them with the tools they need to recover fully and prevent future injury. Whether guiding someone through postpartum healing, rehabbing a sports injury, or helping to build confidence in movement, she is committed to restoring strength and resilience. Outside the clinic, Allison enjoys running, snowboarding, traveling, reading, live music, and (most of all) spending time with her family and friends. She has completed two half marathons and continues to set new fitness goals, both personally and professionally.
Alexis graduated from The College of New Jersey with a Bachelor's Degree in Health and Exercise Science with a minor in Psychology in 2014 and her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Seton Hall University in 2017. Alexis’ passion for physical therapy began when she started competitive dance and saw a lot of her friends attending therapy for various injuries. She has experience in treating outpatient orthopedics, post-surgical, neurological, and geriatric patients. Alexis’ clinical affiliations included outpatient orthopedics, subacute, pediatrics, and inpatient neurological rehab. Alexis is a Certified Kinesiotaping practitioner (CKTP). When she is not working, Alexis is spending time with her family, going to the beach, shopping, staying active, and traveling around the world!
